Utah Paiute Housing Authority owns 164 stand alone units among 5 service areas in Southern Utah. The cities in which we have housing are: Cedar City, St. George, Annabella, Ivins, Santa Clara, Joseph, Enoch, Kanosh, Fillmore, Washington, Richfield, Fillmore, Parowan, and Hamilton Fort. The Low Rent Program facilitates the rental of these units. - Complete Utah Paiute Tribal Housing Authority Application Form
- Meet low income guidelines as set by HUD & UPTHA.
- Provide verification of income for each member of the household (as applicable)
- Provide Residency Verification & Rental History
- Sign a Release of Information for UPTHA and Background Checking Agency
- Complete and return Background Check Form for anyone in the household over 18 years of age.
- Submit a Money Order for Background Check Fee
- Provide copies of Driver’s license or Photo Identification Card, Certificate of Indian Blood, Birth Certificate, and Social Security Card.
- Applications are only good for 1 year of application being received, you will need to reapply after 1 year.

The Utah Paiute Tribal Housing Authority is fortunate to offer a Rental Assistance Program to qualified individuals. There are currently 86 households that benefit from the rent subsidies UPTHA provides, through various grants and funds.
Qualified tenants must:
- Complete Utah Paiute Tribal Housing Authority Application Form
- Meet low income guidelines as set by HUD & UPTHA
- Provide verification of income for each member of the household (as applicable).
